Sticky Keys
Sticky Keys a 1-button multiplayer competitive game that can support 30+ players on one keyboard. We wanted to create something with accessible and available to a variety of group sizes.

I was responsible for design, programming, and some visual effects. The game was made in only one day.

Something we wanted make sure of in the design is that it was still fun with a small number of players. One on one combat requires baiting and fakeouts to trick the opponent into committing and falling into traps, somewhat reminiscent of fighting game footsies.
Relatives of mine, from toddlers to uncles, playing the game. It's very easy to pick up, you can even join in mid game. The hands do get tangled on the keyboard though, which I think is half the fun. Hence the title, Sticky Keys, and the spider theme.
We gave the game very simple visuals, due to time constraints as well as the desire to make sure the game is still readable with 30 or more spiders spinning around.
